So while everyone was frothing at the mouth over SOPA/PIPA yesterday, the Supreme Court upheld a Congressional decision that foreign works in the public domain can get a US copyright. No more “Peter and the Wolf” to teach little kids about music, local and university orchestras have much less to choose from, and college students won’t be able to use old sources on google books...
